For nearly thirty years the Mater Neonatology Unit had been receiving wonderful storyboards created by parents and family members that celebrate the lives of the children born through the Hospital. These stories have been proudly displayed in the wards for many years and have provided invaluable support and encouragement to the parents, families and friends experiencing the challenges and excitement associated with premature births. Families of children born through the Mater Hospital's Neonatology Unit can now get involved in the digital PlaceStories project, designed by RED-i Design and built by KND Web Consultants and Feral Arts. Using cutting edge touch screen technology the navigation is user friendly, interactive and instinctive with a soft, inviting colour palette.
